Just under a year ago, I did a story on Sheridan Terrace (soon to be known as Sheridan Station). The Sheridan public housing site (pictured below), was demolished in 1997. In 2005 DCHA selected William C. Smith & Co. as the lead developer for Sheridan Terrace and in 2008 a $20 million HOPE VI grant was received.
While groundbreaking for this project was originally annouced May 2010, it wasn't until Summer of 2010 that we started to see some real action. July 2010, we started to see this:
And in August 2010, we saw the crane go up:
This project is slated to be complete Summer 2011, so stay tuned for more pictures as Phase I progresses.
