Marion Barry's 2010 State of the Ward Address

Everyone likes to remind me that Marion Barry won the last election by a 77 percent landslide. And like him or not, he is our Council member. Will he be re-elected in 2012? Well, as the Syndicate says, "until somebody, or a group of individuals, decides to MOB up and do something...Marion B is here. The sound of revolution is feet on the ground."
Except I don't hear a stampede, I hear a shuffle. The time to step up and out is now. Who is the next leader of Ward 8?
UPDATE: WaPo reports that the members of the Council have voted to censure Barry, strip him of his committee chairmanship, and refer him to the U.S. Attorney's office for possible criminal prosecution--I wonder what can we expect at tonight's meeting? Thoughts anyone? Mr. Barry?
