The original contract value was $260,000,000.000 and with executed change orders has now increased to $260,904,000.00.
You can see the progress in the pictures shown below. According to the 3/19 progress report, the following potential changes are being considered:
Relocation of Ramp C-3. This potential change is being pursued to relocate the proposed Ramp C-3 closer to SB I-295 to lessen the footprint of the overall interchange and eliminate a bridge structure over Good Hope. The Contractor anticipates design completion of the ramp in early April.
Leave in place existing 11th Street inbound bridge. This potential change is being pursued to allow the District more time to evaluate different options for enhanced multi-modal transportation and urban green space.
Widening of Bridge S-6. This potential change calls for the widening of bridge S-6 over DC-295/I-295 and the CSX Railroad by increasing the bridge sidewalk from 6 feet to 14 ft. This will accommodate a shared use path from O St, SE to the intersection of 11th Street to Martin Luther King Blvd.
ACBA Buildout. The Anacostia Community Boathouse Association must be relocated in order to provide space for the proposed new 11th Street bridges. This potential change was planned during procurement; however, the scope had not been fully defined. The work being pursued under this potential change is for the construction of the temporary facilities and docks.
Removal of 11th Street Ramp and Sidewalk to Good Hope Rd. This potential change eliminated the proposed access ramp from 11th Street to Good Hope. Once Popular Point is realized, this ramp will be installed as part of the Poplar Point Project.
