MD Text Messaging Ban
Living so close to the Maryland border makes me think I should go ahead and post this as it becomes law Thursday, this week. So if you're driving in MD and are caught writing or sending text messages while operating a motor vehicle you will be fined $500. Police officers will have a lot of discretion, so by all means--put the phone down while driving---$500 is alot of give up in this economy--and if you disagree, email me--I could use a couple extra bills this month.
